I bought this webcam first with my own money for personal use. Nobody gave me a webcam. Like everyone else, I spend a lot of time working from home. However, lately I have had to go to the office more and more often. I spend a lot of time in Zoom or WebEx meetings. Since I didn't have a webcam, I had to undock my laptop, find enough books to put my laptop on a stand, and then join the meeting. It was very difficult to do this every day 2 or 3 times a day and also I couldn't use the dual monitor configuration during the meeting. I only decided to buy a cheap webcam for convenience reasons. And found this one. This is a BIG webcam. Plug and Play - no software to download or install. The webcam came with instructions but I didn't really need them. If you know how to use WebEx or Zoom, all you have to do is go to your video settings and select your USB webcam and you're good to go. It has an adjustable clip so the webcam sits on top of your monitor and you can tilt it back and forth a bit and it stays STOP as the clip is made of grippy rubber. There is a green "on" and a red "off" light on the front of the webcam so you can tell if you have it turned off or not. And best of all, there's a privacy screen you can put on the camera bezel so you're protected from everyone hacking and watching you. by price! This webcam has all the pros and cons - buy it if you need it!
