I ordered this and another monitor (Samsung 28 inch qled) to use with my PS4 Pro with the intention of returning the monitor after some testing that I didn't like. Here's what I noticed: 1. LG has a lot more settings at any point in the game. This means I can easily change the gaming mode on this monitor and 'tune' it much more precisely than Samsung.2. The Samsung monitor was BRIGHTER, although at times it seemed overly saturated in color. That being said, if you want a more realistic image with more accurate colors, I think you should go for the LG. If you want the color to pop out of the screen, choose qled.3. Games between 1ms and 5ms are indistinguishable for me. I didn't see the difference (and believe me I tried). Bottom Line: For console gaming, I'd say this monitor is hard to beat. The HDR setting enlarges the image to almost match the brightness of a Samsung QLED screen. Overall, LG was more impressed with its stand and ease of use (and it rotates). If you want to surprise your friends with bright, rich colors, get a Samsung. If you want a lifelike image that looks crisp, clear and with more control, GET THIS MONITOR! I did and sent Qled back.
