My kid loves these boots 🤗💕! She is 8 years old, 3rd grade, shoe size 4 and the size chart was accurate for us in choosing the right size for her. She wears them every day even when it's not necessary and so far they've held up well. With "Winter 1st Season in New York". So far they are still waterproof and she has run short distances (house to driveway etc) in about 8 inches of snow or so. It leaves the straps loose for easy on and slipping, but can be tightened if desired. Item arrived with the ankle pieces folded down, so the rubber was deformed and the boots were a bit "crushed".
