Beware of Norelco in Men's

Purchased based on customer reviews and bad experience of my last Norelco purchase. Previous Norelcos lasted ten years on average, my last one a full 90 days. I had a feeling when I saw the difference in quality. The old Norelcos were heavy, strong including the heads, the latter were very light, cheap looking and cheap feel, with smaller heads. I bought a new $30 outlet that doesn't charge at Wal-Mart. It was mediocre and when I tried to shave my weekly stubble for 5 seconds it made an uncomfortable noise and wouldn't shave. While awaiting Norelco's decision on my warranty, I've come to the conclusion that no matter what they do, I just don't trust their products anymore. To be honest, my old batteries weren't that great either. For 1-2 shaves after charging, the shave seemed to last forever and I hated rarely getting a razor-like blade. First try with pocketed, zip through and blade closed, couldn't believe it, quick shave. at last! Tried a few more razors, same thing. Then I tried without connection, only from the battery. Great but be aware that once the timer hits the 60-70 range it takes a lot longer to shave through the stubble in a few days and is about on par with my old Norelco. I will always use the device plugged in or keep it in the 90+ range to make shaving much easier. In summary: BYE, very satisfied and my new free Norelco replacement remains unused in the box. Plus, replacement blades are half the price of Norelco. I can only buy a new one for the cost of Norelco blades. The only question that remains is: will this continue? It's only been a month so I'll update and let you know.
