Does what it says on the tin

Bought a week ago and seems to be working fine. Very easy to install. However, the setup is a bit fiddly. First you need to buy a SIM card from any operator and make sure that there are funds in the SIM card account. Push the card all the way into the device until you hear a click and it won't pop out. I used a flathead screwdriver to insert the card. You should see 2 lights start blinking when you click on the map. Connect the GPS to the car's obd2 port and wait until the 2 lights stop flashing and stay on. You can then use your mobile phone to send text messages to set up the device. The instruction manual contains all the text sms commands for the GPS and seems very simple but seems to have been translated from Chinese to English. SMS and/or call notification when the device is offline (don't answer the call. Just hang up. You can't hear anything and this will result in unwanted credit on your SIM card account). or ring an alarm when the machine feels vibration. Doesn't work for me. I think my car doesn't have this feature so the GPS device can't sense the vibration. - Restore factory settings - Reboot device - Install Apn - Set IP address and port of server. My verdict is exactly what they advertise and it works well enough for me. Pros: The website seems to monitor the SIM card's signal, so you won't be charged for SMS to get your car's location via the website see. The device stores a history of your trips and is fully accessible via the website and Google Earth. Cons: I wish this device would alert me when my car doors open so I know if someone is trying to get into my car. . I would also like the device to have a feature to turn off the car if I realize it has been stolen.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
