I don't know if anyone has explored this type of camera like I have and I also have another Reolink 5.0 camera but this one is perfect. Out of the box it was 1-2-3. Very easy, just follow the instructions and although the installation instructions are minimal here are the simple steps. Install the app on your phone, follow the instructions in the guide and the voice prompts. PLEASE INSTALL THE MICRO SD CARD BEFORE STARTING THE SETUP. The micro SD must be in FAT32 format and cannot be larger than 64 GB. Attach the optional solar panel after installation. This is genius. No more climbing stairs to remove and charge batteries. After installation, download the Reolink Client app on your laptop. I have Windows 10 and am following these instructions. After installation, click Add Camera, do not use the IP address, change it to UID from the drop-down list. Add the UID number to the information above. Then select your username and password and click Connect to local network. That should work.
