I have to give a good rating for the fantastic quality of these mufflers, but THESE THINGS ARE TOO QUIET! I installed a Magnaflow x-pipe and removed the cats on my '08 crown when I installed these mufflers and removed the stock exhaust. I read the reviews and thought they would sound good and have good volume but not be funny. DO NOT THINK! They sound great, yes, but they're not that much louder than my stock exhaust. Not sure if it's the muffler, but I have a feeling the only reason it's a bit louder is because I removed the crampons. So I'm disappointed that I spent that much money on two of these and an X-tube (around $400) and it's no different. I even checked it against a decibel reader, and those mufflers are only 3.5 decibels louder, if that. If you're looking for a nice sound that's louder than stock but not as nasty as cherry bombs, I'd recommend the Flowmaster 40s. But if you want a nice boost in performance but want to be quiet (perhaps you mean a sleeper), get these mufflers. really feel like the flow has been unleashed, very much. You can look down at these mufflers and see through them, they have very good flow. I also thought they would sound loud but they aren't but these X-pipe straight mufflers got me up at 10-15hp, with a good branded intake you could see your engine's good hidden power without the cops to include So enough of my ramblings, still 4 stars because they are good but I hate that they are so quiet, real disappointment. :(
