Tablet mode does not allow, and not what can be seen in the pictures.

It's well made for the money, but be aware that due to the thickness of the two halves of the case, you won't be able to fully fold the screen into tablet mode without closing the hinges burden. In addition, the shell is not wavy as in the photo, but smooth.
