This is what I needed. I use them as socks under my Churchill fins and they keep my feet warm and comfortable in the cool California seas (50-55 degrees Fahrenheit). With them I can stay in the water without freezing or rubbing my feet. They are the perfect thickness and the finish seems good. I especially use them for board surfing and I like to ride my bike to the beach. Once under my fins these socks work great. However, the fin tip that works so well on my fins is not abrasion resistant when walking on concrete and asphalt. Also, they are so thin that it is not very convenient to ride bicycle pedals in them. I deal with these limitations by removing them when I have to walk sidewalks and by covering the bike pedals with a separate piece of neoprene. Neil's ankle boots, which are much sturdier; but these boots are a torment to my fins. I also have a pair of Cressi Fin socks which are thinner, softer and less warm - I save them for a tropical vacation.
