Review on 🎨 Mungyo Gallery Soft Pastels - 48 Assorted Color Set in Cardboard Box by Carol Miller

Update 10/26/18: Lightfastness test results: Most of the colors passed the south window test. Faded Colors: #21 (Mid Violet Pink), #22 (Magenta), #23 (Purple), #37 (Fluorescent Pink), and #38 (Fluorescent Pink). Original review, slightly modified: These are fairly soft pastels, stick well to sanded paper and board, and leave little dust (almost on par with the best in this regard), mostly rich, pure colors. I already had a set of 36 and thought at this price point it would be nice to have this set of 48 which I was expecting to have lighter shades of blue, green and pink. Instead, I opened the box to find that there were extra white and black pens (which use very few serious pastels) and 4 fluorescent colors (professional?) and no improvement in tonal range. As with Mungyo's Artists Oil Pastels, the ASTDM lightfastness standards are not mentioned here. I'll make "sample pages" with both types of pastels, stick them to the south window and come back in a few weeks to post the results.
