Review on Computer chair Duke for the head, upholstery: textile, color: grey 29 by Danuta R-k ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A practical product, nothing to complain about.

The chair does not look luxurious. If it is for the leader, then oooooochen middle management))) Actually, I didn't need anything like that. I just needed a comfortable chair in the room to work and watch movies. And this is it. Home is great! The gray color looks good. It seems that in the first days nothing creaks, does not fall off, the equipment is complete, and it works as it should. But the assembly . dear . It was easier for me to assemble the simulator, in which there were 24 screws, including two blocks. In general, the manufacturer still, to put it mildly, has something to think about.

Pros
  • - Sit comfortably. You don't get tired, your back feels good. - Soft. - The material is tactilely good. - The build quality of components is normal, quite good. Of course, time will tell how true this statement is. - Does not creak (in the first days of use, and then - I don’t know) - It leans well - you can lean back quite far. - Falls low. - With my height of 181 cm and weight of 72 kg, it is very comfortable to sit. It is wide, so the weight of 100+ is unlikely to be a problem for the chair. - The depth of the chair is enough for me. However, if you have much more significant dimensions, it may not seem deep enough, and you will “roll down”. It is better to sit in it in advance. - The height of the backrest is quite enough for my height. The headrest is right under your head. - The height of the chair itself is enough for my height very tightly. Higher - it is better to sit in it in advance, as he raised it to the maximum (height 181). But I do not think that this is a minus. After all, it is also safety when reclining. - Soft armrests - it was my dream, and it came true. - Fixation in any position is very good. - Sufficiently vertical backrest for working in front of a computer. - rubber wheels. I don’t think it’s worth using on the parquet, but overall it’s still good.
Cons
  • Assembly is hell. Scoop in all its most juicy manifestations. Once upon a time in the Soviet school years, we collected armchairs at a labor lesson in the assembly hall. I think it's pretty clear what it was like. So, in this chair, produced in 2022, there are only 8 screws, not counting those that hold the support. And four of these 8 screws to unscrew and then screw in is another task. To unscrew, you need to fight with the upholstery wound inside (the screws initially come already half screwed in). Life hack: if they don’t give in, you need to screw them in until they stop, and then unscrew them again. And so several times until the upholstery or filler releases. Screwing the seat to the back is the main trash. After reading the reviews, I thought that people without hands write. It turned out - it seemed. Either I myself am without hands, or the manufacturer himself has never assembled his own chairs. In general, I got the impression that this is a problem for all domestic seat manufacturers. It would be cool to collect them all at some industrial exhibition and make them collect their own products. And see how many sweats they get off. It is strange that the experience of producing furniture from a well-known company that left the domestic market did not affect it, this market. Ours go their own way - "make a blunder, if only to sell faster and more expensive"
