tried to update the software when opening it and said that it was already up to date. When I connected it to my 2012 RAM 3500 it worked right away. Once I figured out how to set up custom sensors, it just worked. I have a few complaints about the design. The first complaint I have is that it forgets the car when I turn it off. Well, I don't give anyone a reason to break into my truck, so I always take it home. This means I have to select the make of the car every time I plug it back in. A minor annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless. The second complaint is that it gets very hot - almost too hot to wrap your hand around. At first I thought it was because of the scorching sun, and it was 115F outside, but even at night it gets very hot.
