Sturdy and Beautiful

My wife has a gold cross that requires a delicate chain, usually around 0.9mm or less. The problem with buying a solid gold chain that thin is that even the slightest tug on the chain or snagging on something will cause the chain to break. Buying this chain, which is still gold (plated) but over stainless steel, means you have the beautiful, dainty chain you wanted but is at least three times stronger than you need. Because it is not pure gold, it is of course also more economical. We both think it was a great purchase.
