Ordered this specifically for Rob Appel's _Unstrung Heroes_ pattern, which is an intricate applique made up of many very small parts (e.g. a guitar) is ). Aggravation!). Thought a smaller tip would be perfect for this. I received it at the very end of December 19th and then we were gone, then the pandemic came and I couldn't find the right fabrics 16+. Work finally started on the project and after the large parts were in place I opened up the Clover set to start work on the tiny parts, only to find that it was dead on arrival. In disbelief I tried different sockets, as well as different heating levels, but without success. The product is covered by a one-year warranty, so I'm hoping either Clover or Revain will ship me a replacement. In the meantime, the application project is waiting. Very disappointed as I have a number of other Clover products that I really like. But I would be wary of buying anything that connects :) 4th August 2020 update emailed Clover but didn't even get a response from them. Very disappointed with this company. However, I contacted Revain and they allowed me to return the item for a restocking fee. Ordered another one and must admit the burn hazard warnings are correct. I ended up getting two good burns on my hands before developing the technique. But I also couldn't add smaller parts without them. Burns could have easily been avoided by simply wrapping the plastic case around the entire grip area.
