User-friendly: heat shrink tube

Easy to solder, caps are excellent, heat shrink tubes are not needed. take a good soldering iron, tin the ends of the wires hard so that there is a drop of solder at the end, lead it to the plug (black on - red on +) and hold the soldering iron on the drop until it runs and you're done again.
