Easy to solder, caps are excellent, heat shrink tubes are not needed. take a good soldering iron, tin the ends of the wires hard so that there is a drop of solder at the end, lead it to the plug (black on - red on +) and hold the soldering iron on the drop until it runs and you're done again.

Excellent connections. Once you've soldered them properly, you don't have to worry about +/- crossings. Rubber boots are ideal for covering solder joints. Yes you have to solder, but then you know you have a reliable connection. This is a favorite of my FRC robotics team.

used them to make a drill press. This makes it easy to disassemble/assemble, and the power tool can be replaced with something else. I'm relatively new to soldering and started out with circuit boards, but once I got the hang of them I liked how easy they were to work with. I will definitely keep them in stock for future projects.

Bought these XT60s because of the improved ability to secure cable connections. No heat shrink needed and the black cover has a wall separating the 2 wires. Speeds up XT60 installation and improves the appearance of the end product. The only downside is that these plugs are tight, making unplugging a bit difficult.

I didn't buy them for RC cars. My Creality Ender 3 printer uses this connector from the power supply to the motherboard. They use cheap Chinese XT60 connectors which are known to be flammable. In fact, my connector on my 3D printer started melting. I bought it, replaced it, ran another print job and checked for the new port. Didn't feel hot at all. Excellent quality connectors! I love her.

If you are lucky and unlikely you will get what is listed. You will most likely end up with 20 identical pieces, not 10 pairs of male and female connectors. You don't really need 10 pairs, you only need 1 socket, but you guessed it, we have 20 plugs and a shell. I really hope this company is based somewhere in China. That at least explains the poor quality control, but if it's based in the US, we're not up to par.

The connectors are supplied in pairs male and female. I've used this type before but never installed it. I expected the wires to either twist or tighten. The terminal comes with what I would call a soldier mug. The male ends look fine, but the female ends seem blocked; which is not drilled as deep as connectors. This is new to me and as far as I know they can be sold that way. I have not contacted the seller regarding this as it is a small task and I will get it working. Besides that…

As an experienced electronics technician. These things are great for my desktop power supplies for the various experiments I'm always doing. It's just that one end is always connected to a source that is connected to one of them, and I have a reliable power supply for the device under test by building the opposite pigtail. IMO excellent quality. I will get many connection cycles before needing a replacement. At this great price I might buy another order to check my supplies in the future…

I've been wanting to try these as everyone is switching to them, dropping Deans/T-Plugs because they're easier to solder and easier to grab with your hands. I was not disappointed. For soldering I just connected the plugs and sockets together and just soldered the wire connections. The reason I paired a male with a female is simple. Plastic can be loosened by heat.
