Regular use (every other day) for a year (washed regularly and Lysolyl for disinfection), looks almost like new. We use it for various jugs, bottles, containers, sports thermos flasks, some of which are not dishwasher safe. The bristles are harder than usual, but this has never resulted in scratches. doesn't seem to be aging, would definitely buy again if the current one somehow ceases to exist.
