I chose Life Proof because they have a systematic approach that allows my new iPhone to be a bike computer, phone and iPod. Bought a belt holster, bike mount and case. I liked the case but put the holster back into the belt and bike rack after the latter fell apart after four rides and 100 miles on my road bike (in good road conditions). On my last ride I was traveling at 18mph and the bike rack fell apart. The road was slippery. Luckily the phone fell to the side of the road and wasn't damaged as it was still encased in the bike mount and Life Proof case. The bike mount has a design flaw that can be easily corrected by securely attaching the two main parts of the mount together with rivets or screws, or by molding the parts in one piece at the time of manufacture. I could have made the previous change myself, but why should I? Until there is a major redesign I would not consider this Life Proof product. I do not recommend buying this product. I'm buying an extra cadence sensor and handlebar mount for my trusty 8 year old Garmin 705 Edge and using it on both bikes.
