Works well to completely block sunlight in a south facing bedroom. Just small light leaks around the frame where the material was cut. Suggest that you don't follow the instructions which say to measure and cut with scissors, but apply like a normal window film by placing a larger piece over it and cutting it to size with a blade. .Spray glass and frame with window cleaner and wipe with paper towel. Then spray water with a few drops of dish soap and scrape the glass with a single-blade razor until there is no sound of dirt or paint stains on the glass. Final cleaning with detergent and water, remove with a squeegee and wipe dry with a microfiber cloth to remove lint. I removed the protective film, sprayed the glass again with a mixture of water and dish soap, and applied the film. Squeeze out any air bubbles with a plastic spatula (as you would with an automatic filler) and trim off the excess with a razor blade. A final pass with a plastic spatula to remove excess water from the edges, and towel dry the edges and frame.
