I bought this product because the rubber tip on the steam nozzle on my 30 year old espresso machine was worn out and I couldn't find a replacement. I find it works very well. I've seen reviews complaining that it broke after a while, but given the price I wouldn't worry - given how much I could spend on a cappuccino and latte at Starbucks or elsewhere if I didn't have it would have saved me money. I bought it without a stand and need to keep it in a drawer between uses. I was worried that mixing it with other kitchen items might damage the flimsy frothing stick, but I found plugging it into a cardboard tube from a paper towel roll protected it very well. Cardboard tube just the right size.
