Review on Yomandamor Women's Bamboo Diabetic Socks - 5 Pairs of Quarter-Length, Breathable Socks with Seamless Toe and Cushioned Sole by Duane Hayes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice, comfortable socks that are reasonably priced, soft, non-binding, feminine-love them!

Although I am not diabetic, I have neuropathy-like symptoms. My shoe size has swelled to almost 3 sizes, (7 1/2 W-10 WW), painful swelling, itchiness for which I take meds, can only wear non-binding crew socks that are very loose and stretchy, until now. These cute socks aren't as heavy as the usual crew I usually buy in white, black or navy. I like them but need lighter weight for summer and wanted some that were a bit more feminine. They come in a few colors, but when I order they came in multi-packs and only pink was available. I like pink, but would have preferred some variety. For now I'll take what I can get. I was born with a very severe case of club feet where my feet were turned in so far my toes were pointing backwards, and I had congenital hip deformations. Surgery at age one and castings with manipulations regularly from newborn on and specially shaped open-toed shoes every 3 months with a bar between them until about age 3 or 4. After that, very heavy maroon straight tie shoes replaced about every 3 months-very expensive for my parents who were struggling. Leg muscles couldn't develop properly, legs, hip and a number of painful back conditions requiring surgeries and many treatments. I live on meds so as not to be bedridden. I tell you all this to have you understand why socks are such a big deal to me. In conclusion, ;-) these socks are lightweight for the summer, pretty light pink with white on the short leg section, about 1/2 crew, thin, and the whole sock is very soft, non-binding, and leaves no creases in your skin. The multi-pack works out to about $3.00 per pkg. I also like that they give the appearance a feminine flare. No complaints here and I'm pretty sure that I'll be buying more if they get some new colors in. Recommend to anyone with the above mentioned foot problems.

Pros
  • Very light weight with NO seams to annoy tender feet
Cons
  • The colors may not be what you expected
