It looks like HDR isn't supported for either direction
When I have my TV and projector connected they don't switch to HDR, only 4K UHD on Shield TV, XBOX One X and PS4. Tried multiple times, rebooted, reconnected and only HDR. If I only have one goal, it's always HDR. Apparently HDR isn't supported for either target.
