Insulated and too warm for us
They are insulated. We didn't want anything that could keep us warm while hiking in warm weather. This will not suit us since we live in the desert. I chose them because they are cheaper than our regular brands, have a velcro closure and have been told they are waterproof. We will return and just pay more for Merell or Hi-Tec kids walking shoes as they were not hot to wear and proved waterproof. It costs an additional $15.
