I am a classically trained chef and enjoy baking. The Ninja products I have are designed well and made with quality materials. So, I confidently placed an order for the Ninja B30309 Foodi NeverStick premium 9” round cake pan.I was instantly impressed after removing the pan from the shipping package. The heavy-gauged metal, the rolled edges, and the smooth surface make for an excellent baking pan. I dislike the raised "Ninja NeverStick” branding on the bottom of the pan, which stamps your baked goods. This isn’t a big issue unless the baked item is served upside-down. Plus, the handle’s raised branding makes the bottom branding seem excessive.Even though this pan is dishwasher safe, I hand-washed it as recommended. Then I placed a parchment liner into the pan before adding my batter. My recipe called for using a non-stick spray on the pan, which damages non-stick surfaces. The parchment protects the non-stick surface and aids in removing the baked cake. I then added a second high sugar content batter in dallops before using a stick to swirl the batters together.My perfectly baked cake had moist edges and a consistent height. After cooling, I poured the icing over the cake and let it set. Then I cut the cake into wedges and placed the pieces on a cake plate. The liner protected the non-stick surface from scratches and pulled off with ease.
