Great alternative $$$ ***No firmware update***
I was a bit skeptical about the quality of other ink brands but was surprised to see the difference. Sounds trite, but it's worth spending a few extra minutes looking for alternative inks that work for your printer, and they work seamlessly for my Epson 440 printer. **EDIT: Do not update the firmware or ink of the printer. may not work until you manually downgrade the firmware**
