Appears to be a well made hiking pack. At 40L it's smaller and probably best suited for a small person or a teenager. There are three main compartments for separating your stuff - 1) the main compartment for storing clothes, 2) the bottom compartment for shoes and socks, and 3) the top compartment where I put things that I use more often. There are also several small zippered pockets to store your phone, small books, batteries, etc., as well as side mesh pockets for water bottles and snacks. The straps for attaching a sleeping mat or tent roll are also a good length. The inner frame feels solid and the mesh lining keeps it off my back so it stays cool even when I'm sweating. The material seems a little flimsy, but I sprayed it with water and found it to be waterproof, although I can't guarantee it's completely dry if you're in the rainy season.
