Lenses are a bit thick. Plastic is too catchy for me. But I still use them for two reasons. As long as I can put them in my pants cargo pocket and they'll survive. I suppose I could use showcases, but that takes extra time and bulk. Another advantage is that they are metal-free, so you don't have to take them out of your pocket when going through airport scanners. I will always travel with them - just wish they looked a little better. The nose's plastic bridge has also come loose where it connects to one of the lenses, but it's still usable. I treat them pretty roughly, so it's not that bad.
