The product is only for straps. There is no protective cover. I'm making this clarification in case you've read reviews or community questions that mention protective cases. This information should apply to the old product description. You should delete the page or clarify it for potential customers. I would take a star off the rating for that, but I really want to highlight the quality of these bands. They are amazing. Pack of 8 pieces in different colors. As expected, the large straps fit my large wrist. The straps fit my scythe perfectly. Hop on and off comfortably and feel safe so far. Silicone is comfortable and attractive. Holes allow for breathability and a custom fit. I am currently wearing the lightest pale pink stripe and it has taken on a darker shade. So unfortunately I'm not sure what the long-term visual appeal will be. I assume that darker colors don't have this problem. Overall I am very happy with this set.
