Does what I bought it for
I bought it Beat and scoop my various flours made to measure. The shovel handle fits my hand, which is comfortable on the smaller side. If you have a big hand I don't think you will feel uncomfortable using it. I'll at least have more scoops for my sugar. This makes it much easier to scoop the ingredients into the measuring cup and then balance it. I really regret not buying shovels a few years ago.
