This mouse has many advantages and disadvantages. Keep in mind that you need software for most pros and cons, and you really do need software to get the most out of this mouse. Pros: Ergonomic shape: Unlike the glorious Model O, it's easy for right-handers to grip. - Lighting: has many different lighting styles, speeds and different directions. - Can meet all DPI requirements (how fast the cursor moves) - Fast typing: I can smash 20cps (with 4ms debounce time) and pull 30cps and shake 10cps. - Great software with ranges from 400 to 12000 dpi, lots of lighting effects, changeable polling rates and a debounce time slider. It also comes with a macro editor and programmable buttons. It's easy to get used to: I've never used this mouse before and it took me a day to get used to it. - Comes with a DPI button: I know most mice come with DPI. buttons but having used the Razer Deathadder which doesn't have a DPI button I'm very glad to have one. You connect it to your computer. (Although you can just download the software if you're looking for the great model-d software) - the drag isn't very smooth: on my Razer Deathadder I was able to pull it easily, and when my friend tried the great model-d -Using software, he noticed that there was a difficult drag that makes it heavier. I personally haven't had any issues with it, but when it does it has casters that attach to the bottom so it can slide over the mouse pad with ease. - If you use a left-handed mouse, DO NOT buy it: Most people don't use their left-handed mouse, but if you do, don't buy this mouse. Its ergonomic shape is only suitable for right-handed people, and if you use it with your left hand, it will feel very strange and will probably hurt your hand over time. DPI button in awkward place: This might just be my problem, but when using this mouse, I sometimes accidentally change my DPI when I click the butterfly because it's kind of in the way (I don't do it often, but it is still annoying when I do it).
