There are pros and cons, think before buying.

A couple of disks were bought at the beginning of 2022 to work in the mirror. After 3 years of work and the end of the warranty, they began to pour on one disk - reading errors and unstable sectors. The second disc lasted a couple of months longer. Taking into account the use in the server for data storage with excellent cooling and a disk temperature of 28 degrees, the resource, frankly, is rather weak. After 30,000 hours of use, if your data is not mirrored, I advise you to backup your data. The attached screenshot was made at the time of publication, the disks are still in the system.

Cons

Short service life, especially if you recall the loud statement in the description for this series - "Increased reliability. The average time between failures for WD Red is 1 million hours.
