Warning first. Most of the bed sheet sets I've seen lately are wrapped in real bed sheet fabric. These sheets are also suitable, but they are also packaged in a cloth pouch on the outside, which is a much thinner material. The bag feels nice and I wish the sheets were that color but at first I thought it was the fabric and I almost got it back without even opening it. I have an odd taste in sheets. I like thick and stiff like a poly-cotton blend, but I don't want a blend. I spent far more time buying and returning sheets than I would have liked and drove an hour to the nearest store that has sheets on display to see the difference. It's been a long time since I last bought sheets. Anyway, it's the percale that gives the texture I'm looking for. While they're not as thick as I'd like, they're soft and have that starchy, crunchy feel without locking in heat like a polyester blend would. They wrinkle a lot but I don't care and that was to be expected. The color matches my duvet perfectly. Someone mentioned that the pillowcases didn't match their pillow. I have standard size Tempurpedic memory foam pillows and they fit great. I would love to be able to fully fold and tuck away pillowcases like hotels do, but I don't know of any retail sheet set like this. You'll need either king-size pillowcases or real hotel sheets if you want to do this. I think these are very good sheets for the money and really good value for money.
