Looks like a decent thermos. Works pretty well, especially when preheated with near-boiling water. The quick release top, however, absorbs moisture inside and keeps it out. It doesn't dry out either. When I first noticed this I took off the red cap/lid on top, washed it out and let it dry. Put the lid back on and from then on when I preheat the thermos I just cover it with a bowl or something (I leave the quick snap on top) so not as much moisture gets in. It didn't matter though because when I drained the hot water, refilled the coffee and screwed the lid back on, the moisture was still building up. Due to the construction, moisture inevitably reached the top. What worries me is that mold/algae will form over time which is not good. So I think removing the red cover will be a necessary recurring action every week or so from now on. The problem is that it's not an easy task to remove and I'm afraid something will either break or wear out, leading to a loose fit and possible failure. so I thought I'd mention it.
