Review on πŸ”§ Lisle 48300 Pushrod Extractor Tool by Auden Paz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent tool for the money

Really made replacing the lower intake manifold gaskets on my 3.4 liter engine quick. This tool requires some technique to avoid breaking fingers and bending pushrods. First, make sure you push the lever up exactly in the plane of the rocker arm. Otherwise, it will slip and the seesaw will slam. 2. Slowly raise the tool, only lifting until the slide is out of its seat. 3. Do not try to remove the pusher from the side. There is a gap for threading the pusher through the tool as the rocker returns down. 4. There have been reports that this tool does not provide adequate leverage when the valve is open. Only 1/2 true. The square hole on the side is for a 3/8 breaker to increase leverage. Not only does the striker bar provide more leverage, it also allows you more stability, resulting in less tool slippage. The quality of the weld seems to have improved, I've had good fillets on both fingers.

Pros

Cons
