Review on πŸ”Š Arylic Up2stream S50 Pro+ - WiFi & Bluetooth 5.0 Audio Receiver with aptX HD, ESS Sabre DAC AKM ADC, Multiroom/Multizone, Wireless WiFi Audio Receiver with Airplay, Spotify, and Internet Radio by Edward Henderson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great sound, features and price. but no fixed output level and no WiFi 5 GHz aka WiFi 6 aka WiFi ax

Installation: Amplifier: Cambridge AXR85 Speakers: Q Acoustics 3060i Likes: Sound Quality: Contrary to some reviews of sound quality from RCA, either my system wasn't representative enough, or those reviewers had some dirty power. As far as I can tell, the sound quality is clean and clear. Sounds better than Bluetooth and my Revain Echo Plus Aux Out. I stream Spotify and Revain Music HD in high quality over the RCA line. Features: This unit has value for features down to the tee. Analog and digital inputs make this preamp very attractive. You can connect a CD player, cassette player or turntable and switch between them. Dislikes: No fixed RCA output: If I were starting over I'd just buy this Arylic box with an Emotiva BasX A2 stereo amp. However, the lack of a fixed output means I have to use two controls when switching sources on my receiver, as the volume levels are very different on a variable connection compared to other sources. Lack of 5 GHz WiFi support: I had to switch to my old WiFi. 5 Boost the HD router to make it work as my WiFi 6 router did not allow me to create a separate 2.4GHz WiFi network. It also means that each device I want to initiate a stream from needs to be able to connect to a separate 2.4GHz network. These two issues are a hindrance to my use case. I really like my fast WiFi and I really need a fixed level output for RCA connections. I am returning the Arylic and will be using the iFi Zen Stream along with the Zen Dac V2 as the combo has a fixed RCA output level and WiFi 5Ghz support.
