I didn't use both pictures because a lot of people already did. I bought this bag (and others) to see what the best carry-on bag was for a Sunday-Friday business trip. It worked well, was comfortable, and contained everything I needed, but there are a few issues that almost made me return it. in the shape of an egg and it was "business travel friendly". This means it's easy to toggle on and off to get through the TSA (I pre-tested it so I don't use the unfold feature but it's there), it's plain black so it blends in with everything, it has a luggage strap to attach over your rollerblade handle, and the straps detach quickly and easily so you can put it under the seat in front of you (which it fits under on every plane I've flown, as per the reviews other people can see). Now for my little problems: SO MANY LOCKS! They're noisy, too, and all three main pockets can have their zippers in the same place on the bag, so it can be difficult to tell which is for which bag. I'm going to cut most of them off and put on color coded paracord instead so they're quiet and easier to tell apart. THE LAPTOP SECTION HAS USEFUL DOCUMENT HOLDER CORNERS. This is a private matter. The laptop compartment has a slanted pocket with three fabric straps on the opposite corner. This is where you want your folders/documents to be saved as you drop them here. It's useless and it would have been better to have a full length bag with a flap at the top for me. I use this for tablets and they aren't long enough to reach the "corner tab". The tab only gets caught on the corner of my laptop when I try to pull it out. THE FRONT POCKET IS ALMOST USELESS. On the front of the bag there is a small flag pocket for travel documents and belongings. It's almost useless because you have to detach your bag to get things in and out, the zipper is hard to find (maybe it's an "anti-theft device"?) and holds almost nothing. Also, it's square and won't fit your boarding pass if you try to fold it. It's also VERY soft in the front, which leads me to believe it should provide cushioning when hitting things. I would like to remove this depreciation. ORGANIZATION BAG MUST BE U-SHAPED, NOT PORTRAIT. The otherwise adequate front organizer pocket opens like a book. It needs to open in a U shape for it to come down. The book opening technique means you can't just throw something inside; You need to put it in an extra bag. I would happily trade the organizer for a simple U-shaped bag. NO hidden pocket. There is ample opportunity for a secret pocket on the back/side of the bag, but it isn't. Garden NO FORKLIFT. You get what you pay for, but forklifts would be nice. EVERYTHING IS SIGNED ON THE ZIPPER. Nylon webbing (and mesh in one of the water bottle pockets) closes every damn zipper. You have to be very careful when closing, otherwise the nylon will remain in the zipper. The water bottle pockets are also half an inch smaller than my metal water bottle but too big to leave open as there is no elastic band to hold a water bottle in one of them. I use one as a USB battery and the other (mesh pocket) holds my water bottle with a very tight fit, fully zipped. Overall I give this bag 4 stars because it does what I need it to do. I just want him to do what I wanted. I can easily get through a week on a business trip with clothes, toiletries, a computer keyboard, an extension cord, and miscellaneous items in a trolley, and then ANC headphones, cables, snacks, a water bottle, a USB battery, etc. Laptop, two tablets, sometimes Music MIDI controller and all my stuff in the backpack. It's _great_ for what it is and the price is reasonable, I just wish it did more and less than it actually does.
