The specs on this disc clearly say it supports LTH (Low To High) BD-Rs, but this drive doesn't record anything except coasters. The WH16NS40 had previously successfully recorded hundreds of these JVC LTH BD-R discs prior to a firmware update, after which it recorded nothing but coasters. I replaced the drive with this WH16NS60 and it doesn't burn those discs either. WH16NS40 and WH16NS60 are the same drive with different firmware designed to prevent UHD Blu-ray copying. Apparently this new firmware also breaks the drive's LTH BD-R compatibility, but good luck if anyone recognizes this. The product was compromised to prevent users from not purchasing it.
