I've been using a French Press for many years, I like having more control over the process (water is colder, brewing time is longer). But my curiosity was piqued by this style. And the size is larger, which was attractive when I had more than two cups of coffee. I have to say I'm very impressed. I like the wooden handle, it looks good, the filter is very impressive. I'm not particularly strict, but the glass held up great. I didn't get any weak coffee either, I like very strong coffee, easy to achieve with a french press. I added the usual amount to the filling I make with the press and got the desired strength. Always a plus What I feared the most was the filter, I prefer reusable ones and the cheap reusable ones are really terrible. This was durable and easy to clean.
