Review on PSCPets Intelliflora 30gm Nutritional Supplement: Boost Your Pet's Health by Renee Patterson

I had high hopes for this product; unfortunately they were not fulfilled. I have been buying fortiflora for my Siberian cat for a few months. She is terribly picky about food with minor digestive issues so Fortiflora was the perfect solution. She finally ate raw food with Fortiflora and her stools were no longer soft. Problem solved! Except for the price, of course. Fortiflora is expensive. After buying month after month of supply, I decided it was worth trying a cost saving alternative. Phew, what a mistake! After reading all the reviews on here I figured my cat might not like it as much as Fortiflora but at least she would. nope She puts it on the food, sniffs, quickly wrinkles her nose and leaves. I can't tempt them to eat with it at all. Even with their favorite granola or tuna treats. I have tried literally everything to get my girl to eat this with meals to no avail. After a week of trying everything under the sun to get her to eat it, I gave up and ordered Fortiflora again. I think I have to stick to it. My cat is very picky and always has been, so maybe this product could work for less picky cats or cats who haven't tried fortiflora before! I gave this product two stars for several reasons. Firstly, the bottle with spoon is very practical (in fact, I like it better than the Fortiflora packaging). Second, good ingredients. It contains probiotics which my cat is used to. The only difference in ingredients is that this product doesn't contain animal digestive products like Fortiflora, but instead contains chicken liver for flavoring. In my opinion this is a mistake! Cats love animal digestion, so they love Fortiflora, and contrary to popular belief, it's not a bad ingredient, it's great for health. In addition, Inteliflora does not contain taurine. Cats need a lot of taurine, so I think any taurine supplement is good. So if you're looking for a cheap probiotic and your cat isn't fussy or already in love with Fortiflora, this is a very good option. However, it gets two stars from me because my picky, fortiflora-loving kitty hates it. TO UPDATE! I gave this to my sister to use with her cat as mine wouldn't touch her, well I was shocked her cat wouldn't eat it either! Your cat is a lot less picky than mine and has wasted several bowls of good food just by trying this! your cat hated it. I would be really careful here. Now I'm giving it to another friend to try. I will update after this experience!
