Two trials on cats

The first bottle was confiscated from our mastiff while we were away. He ate the lid, scoop, and about 90% of the supplement all at once. He is, as always, unaffected by anything that gets into his stomach, so large doses seem harmless. The second bottle arrived and was placed out of reach of the beasts and we started giving a small amount to our Siamese who had intestinal problems. He got about 1/3 scoop per meal for a few days and was back to normal. Now we feed all three cats once or twice a

I am a cat rescuer. Most cats come out because of the pounds or outside in the dirt etc. So they have a lot of parasites. After using all the medications cats are familiar with to eliminate their stool, they often still have bad stools. Someone gave me a box of Forti Flora. I've used it with mediocre results. So I went to Intelliflora (I thought it was more than $$?) Anyway after 2 days on Intelliflora everyone has an amazing chair and cats are now available for adoption! Hooray! I like…

This stuff works GREAT!

I would give this food five stars without any problem because it is so good for my cat and I only need half a measuring spoon at each meal. Simply sprinkle or stir food on top. She needs probiotics with every meal, otherwise she gets diarrhea. I gave this two stars primarily because of the packaging, but as of August 2014 the price was $17.31. I've seen it sell for over $30. Now for the packaging. In December 2015 a bottle spilled on an order I received. This happened due to the fact that there

IntelliFlora is good for cats

Bought this for my kitty who has had chronic diarrhea for a long time. After taking her to the vet to rule out other diseases or parasites the only thing the vet found through testing was "excessive bacteria in her stool" and we went with antibiotic pills which didn't seem to help other than detection from the virus. the dreaded cat-pilling syndrome. I bought IntelliFlora after trying a more expensive brand with limited results. This product didn't "cure" my cat's diarrhea, but it made it…

good product for my bengal cat

After getting my bengal cat, I soon realized that she had bad experience with the litter box. She was quite ill for the first couple of months when I first got Giardia and then had quite a painful infection/intestinal issues post neutering. Then I did a little research online and found out that Bengalis are known for their IBS/chronic diarrhea so she was a miserable girl! On one of our visits to the vet when she was ill, the vet prescribed her FortiFlora which seems to be helping her. I…

Similar to Fortiflora

I found a difference between Fortiflora and this product. Fortiflora uses animal digests to flavor its product, and that flavor comes from the liver. I think my cats prefer the taste of Fortiflora, but they don't hesitate to lick every last crumb of this product. It helps my cats with chronic diarrhea and works just the way I need it. My cat has been to the vet too many times and no one can tell me what's wrong with her. She was recently taken in for an operation and they had to come off the…

Intelliflora vs. Fortiflora

I had high hopes for this product; unfortunately they were not fulfilled. I have been buying fortiflora for my Siberian cat for a few months. She is terribly picky about food with minor digestive issues so Fortiflora was the perfect solution. She finally ate raw food with Fortiflora and her stools were no longer soft. Problem solved! Except for the price, of course. Fortiflora is expensive. After buying month after month of supply, I decided it was worth trying a cost saving alternative. Phew…
