Review on Cooler Master MasterFan MF120 Prismatic by Chris Moody

Great performance and looking fan!

If you're anything like me, you probably spend your days watching videos from various YouTubers about PC geeks. I probably spent a week looking at PC fan reviews from the likes of Jay, Linus, Gamers Nexus, and many other smaller YouTubers. I also read reviews from PCMag, Toms Hardware, IGN, Digital Central and others. There are so many fans that it becomes extremely difficult to choose one. In the end, all you have to do is make up your mind and hope your research pays off. In my case, my research definitely paid off. I love this fan! It was easy to install and the cables were long enough for easy cable routing in my case. RGB is great too, but the real question is how does it work. Based on my testing, it worked fantastic! I used Ryzen Master, NZXT Cam, and Core Temp to monitor CPU and case temperatures. When playing Warzone for about 5 hours, the temperature never exceeded 75 degrees Celsius. Note that nothing in my system is overclocked, which generates more heat. I have 3 CoolerMaster 120mm intake fans, then I use this 140mm exhaust fan. This layout worked great for me. In addition, the noise level is optimal. They're pretty quiet for the most part, but you can still hear them. When looking for fans, however, the noise was not the decisive factor for me. TLDR: I am very pleased with both the performance of this fan and its aesthetics. I recommend it to anyone looking for PC fans.
