I used it to cool down on vacation and it worked very well. It has 3 speeds and the first one is pretty fast but when you are in a very hot environment the other 2 higher settings come in very handy. And the mist is light but provides extra cooling when needed, even when the fan is off. The lights are a nice extra fan option when you're in a darker area. And they are easy to use!
