I like magnetic eyelashes. I like the concept and the efficiency. When I bought these I thought Ardell were the best lashes I've ever had. Let me tell you that I have never struggled so much with magnetic lashes before. I know some people find it difficult to attach magnetic lashes. However, it was very difficult. First, they have magnets glued on one side for the top and bottom, not the other side like most magnetic eyelash bands. Traditionally magnets are glued to the top lash on the bottom and on the bottom strip they are glued to the strip so if you glue two they will instantly stick and hold well. But these lashes have magnets glued under the strips at both the top and bottom. I found it so strange. So I figured it was either a defect, bad design, or Ardell intended to pair these lashes with a magnetic eyeliner. If you see eyelashes, they are pretty thick. Very dramatic. So what have I done? I CHECKED THIS ON EVERYONE! I took the magnetic gel eyeliner and tested the eyelash strip! They work but I bought them specifically so I don't need eyeliner because sometimes I don't want to wear eyeliner! SO! You can do this for all 4 lashes as the magnets will be glued to the underside of the lash band here as well. I've also read in reviews that people have cut them in half or cut them off. The thing is, magnetic lashes are not meant to be clipped and if you need trimming or trimming then either the type of lashes isn't right for you or the design is poor. Can you do that because this is your life? Yes, I suppose you can cut the bottom strip in half* (you don't have to). I don't recommend trimming your lashes as you risk ruining their magnetic hold as well as their weight. Just try a new style or brand! Hope this review helps you! In summary, using it without eyeliner is quite difficult due to the design of the magnet, but if you use it with magnetic eyeliner, you should be fine! * Bonus Tip! When applying eyelashes, first magnetize the parts together, then bend them slightly for better application and result!
