I'll admit, when I first unpacked it and laid it on the table (it was meant to lie flat for a while) I was I am too impressed. But after washing it in the dishwasher I was very impressed. You have to look closely to see that this isn't a real deal, and I don't expect anyone to take a close look at my dishwasher. The magnet sticks very firmly and is easy to cut if you need to cut the doorknob like I did. I used a utility knife because other reviewers don't recommend scissors. I put a piece of cardboard underneath to protect the stainless steel and put a block of wood underneath and cut through the magnet and cardboard down to the tree. I think $60 was well spent. Btw they cut it to length spec if you ask them. I wanted mine to be a little longer than standard and they cut it to my specifications.
