The strap itself is nice but the closure is poorly thought out. It may make more sense for a larger dog but my pup does weighs 18lbs and was too big to be comfortable.The buckle is so thick it's quite heavy which wouldn't pose much of a problem except you have to push really hard to unbuckle and it has to like an old seat buckle and not like the latches on the side opening get pushed in. It's so uncomfortable for the pup when he tries to remove it, I mean I slipped my fingers under him to avoid putting pressure on his neck but with the force I had to squeeze, my fingers still curl a bit Little Loki wasn't happy
