As good as it gets. I've been using this lens for three years now and within a week of shooting I already knew my search for a 35mm M mount lens ended here. While it's not the world's smallest 35mm lens, its optical superiority and build quality make up for it. When it comes to size, everything is relative. It's still smaller than any non-M 35mm lens. Here's what you get: 1. Excellent overall image quality2. Nice bokeh3. Amazing resistance to ambient light. Best flare control of any M.4 lens. The lateral CA is minimal and only appears in very difficult lighting conditions, e.g. B. when photographing against a hard light5. There is no longitudinal CA. My only initial disappointment was that it came without a hood. Now I can say that this lens really doesn't need that.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • No mold required
