I have new neighbors who tore down the previous owners fence. Their TV room windows looked right out of my bedroom windows, so when they worked in the yard or sat in this room, they looked straight into my house. I didn't want to keep the blinds closed all the time. It was the perfect solution. Easy to install (I used Windex, not their solution). There are lines on the back to help cut a straight line. Standing away from the window I can see and the light falls nicely and is filtered. However, if you stand next to a window, you cannot see well. Not a problem except I was hoping to hang it in the front windows as well, but I can't because dogs can't see outside. From the street it looks like my blinds are just closed. Very satisfied. Added some photos. First, how it looks from the outside, like a shadow. Second, if you look out the window and stand close to the window, it's hard to see. The third is the window at the back of the house where I just covered half of the window and you can see how good you can see outside. It's dark because it's raining. That also lets you know that it stays on even when it rains. It sat by the window for a while before it started raining
