Review on Regetek Double Touchscreen Bluetooth Control by Kyle Hoes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Definitely worth $78 For the right person

As a stereo: All functions work well. * Can't comment on the steering and I haven't installed a rear view camera yet (not a priority for my older son). However, it's a lot cheaper than any other alternative that includes a Bluetooth radio and a phone in an old car. Cons: much longer installation and you have to be creative - DO NOT USE MOUNTING KITS - NONE OF THEM WILL FIT THIS STEREO. . I also used the original rear jack (looks like a plastic triangle) which I drilled a small hole in. Once installed (on my son's 2002 Mustang) the top and bottom looked fine, but they had a 1/4-3/8 inch gap. Pages. Not too flashy, but that was solved with two strips of black plastic that I secured with black paint caulk so it would stick to the sides (but not fasten - goes in and out with a little pressure). The photo I posted is without the side panels. For me, a day full of excitement with my son was just perfect. For my son and probably most others, the extra work might not be worth the $75-$100 saved.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Minor issues
