I am putting this on a real ballistic helmet just to try to protect my helmet from normal wear and tear. It seemed pretty cool (looking cool is important folks) and the price wasn't that bad. The choice of materials seemed good, so I made the purchase. I use it on a Hard Head Veterans helmet, it's Gen 2, it doesn't really fit on this cap because the NVG mount is smaller and the rails are mlok so they take up less space and a little on the sides and all around stay open the mount, but this will continue. But not a bad cover. As long as I like it
