These shorts have a well tailored feel and the material is soft. and on the S/M border for the waist so I went up a size and took an M. The waist fitted well but the hips should have been looser, it was a little tight and there was a small pouch and Tension. Material. I can't comment on how they feel when running or how they hold up in the wash since I returned them. Definitely order a size up if not 2 sizes.
